Surface Mount Operator/Technician

Surface Mount Operator/Technician Reading £13 - £15 per hour (Permanent Role) Late Shift (2pm-10pm) Surface Mount Operator (SMT) Urgently required for a leading electronics manufacturer based near Reading. You will work for an expanding business with a modern manufacturing facility producing high quality electronic products utilised in wide range of applications. Candidates will be able to demonstrate relevant experience in Surface Mount processes, achieving high levels of output & quality in equal measure. The nature of the task means that you will be on your feet for most of the day and handling small electronic components down to 0201 size. The work is varied ranging from operating a single line, assisting colleagues on other lines, setting up feeders & kits, and using an array of inspection equipment. Operations will include production build, new product introduction and prototype builds, and there is also the option to assist in enhancing existing processes and developing the production processes for new products.
