Job title: Head of Group People Capability Strategy Location: Farnborough then Frimley from January 2024. Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 (depending on experience) What you'll be doing: General description of the role: Working in a Global Supply Chain team, lead the UK and Rest of World Procurement and Supply Chain strategy for People Capability on behalf of the Group Procurement and Supply Chain Functional Excellence Director, in consultation and alignment with the US Procurement and Supply Chain Team, to develop an inclusive, diverse and empowered supply chain workforce, fit for future and ready to drive business success. Collaborate cross-functionally across the business to create the People Capability Strategy for the function, including short, medium and long term change, whilst ensuring alignment with business People Capability Strategy, working closely with the US business to leverage efficiency opportunities. Own the UK and Rest of World functional People Capability Framework to maximise the Employee Value Proposition, in consultation and alignment with the US Procurement and Supply Chain Team. Potentially grow the Head Office Procurement and Supply Chain People Capability team through 2023 and 2024 to increase effectiveness and collaboration on people capability activities across the enterprise.Core activities: Work pan-business and pan-function to create the Procurement and Supply Chain People Capability Strategy. Lead the People Capability Strategy across the UK and Rest of World business focused on a Supply Chain workforce fit for the future, work closely with the US businesses to support a global strategy where appropriate. Set the functional People Capability Framework, aligning to wider HR and People Capability strategies. Through the framework define people capability in the function, including strategic workforce planning, EVP, career pathways, mobility, retention, engagement and talent. Through cross-business/function collaboration form a People Capability Centre of Excellence for Procurement and Supply Chain creating a subject matter expert community across the function. Provide global thought leadership through the People Capability Centre of Excellence. Ensure UK and Rest of World People Capability Strategy is integrated and aligned with all other areas of the value chain and associated people capability activity across the corporate landscape.Your skills and experiences: Hold MCIPS or equivalent qualification and/or Qualified to Degree standard or equivalent. Project Management qualification or equivalent experience, ideally including agile Stakeholder management to develop and agree strategic roadmap. Strong communication skills, including communicating benefit cases to all levels of the organization. A proactive approach, growth mind-set and adaptability to work at both operational and strategic levels to ensure the long terms strategy delivers for the function and business.
