Job Requirements / Description
Participate in several projects to optimize digital platforms and tools. Coordinate CRM campaign calendar updates with the various business units. Coordinate social media management. Research audience preferences and discover current trends. Create engaging text, image and video content. Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products. Measure web traffic and monitor SEO. Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness. Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way. Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries. Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans. Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics. Oversee social media accounts’ layout. Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions. Continuously research best practices and solutions. Create and revise team procedures and processes. Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing on special projects as assigned. RequirementsBAA in Tourism, Marketing or DEC in Tourism Management, or other relevant training. Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels. Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video). In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics. Expertise in multiple social media platforms. Proven work experience as a social media coordinator. Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills. Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in French and English. Refined verbal, written, and presentation skills. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a high demand, fast-paced environment. Good stress tolerance. Strong sense of initiative and autonomy. Good interpersonal skills. Excellent team spirit and ability to collaborate. Ability to manage priorities and several projects simultaneously. Organized, analytical, rigorous, results-oriented, meticulous and flexible. Good command of Office suite software. Writing experience an asset. Experience in the tourism industry is an asset. Knowledge of technology, the web and digital in general (CMS, CRM, newsletter tools, Google At least two years of experience in a similar position.
