The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and repairing gas appliances, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering excellent customer service. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conducting routine servicing and maintenance of gas appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers. - Diagnosing and repairing faults in gas appliances efficiently and effectively. - Performing safety checks and ensuring compliance with gas safety regulations. - Providing technical advice and guidance to customers on the safe and efficient use of gas appliances. - Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records of work undertaken. - Collaborating with colleagues and management to deliver outstanding service to customers. **Requirements:** - Gas Safe registered engineer with relevant qualifications (e.g., ACS Gas qualifications - COMCAT CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1) - Proven experience in servicing and repairing a range of gas appliances. - Strong technical skills and knowledge of gas safety regulations. - Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Full UK driving license. **Benefits:** - Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. - Company vehicle provided/fuel card - Opportunities for professional development and training. - Pension scheme. - Overtime/call out If you are a skilled Gas Service and Repair Engineer looking for a new opportunity to join a reputable company in Blackburn, we would love to hear from you.
