Electrical Test Engineer
Contract: 6 months initial contract (Extension and/or temp to perm is a possibility but not guaranteed)
Rate: £17.00 - £20.00 per hour
Location: Congleton
Mon till Friday 7.25h per day with flexible start and finish times as long they are within the core hours 09:30 - 15:00
Adecco have an exciting new opportunity to work as Electrical Tester with an innovative organisation near Congleton. The ideal individual would have experience in fault finding with electronics and or electrical components.
Skills:
Good working knowledge of AC drives and control circuits including fault finding and repair.
ONC or equivalent in electrical engineering or related area
Good knowledge of measurement methodology.
Ability to understand and apply technical standards.
Past experience working in a test laboratory
Knowledge of test methods, test tools and test automation as well as error management (reporting, tracking etc.)

What you'll be doing
Testing of new and existing electronics products to both industry (e.g. IEC (phone number removed), IEC (phone number removed)-1) and in-house standards.
Plan and prepare test setups and installation for testing of new and existing products.
Analysing gathered results
Producing high quality technical reports
Intensive collaboration and information exchange with the respective development projects or other test departments.
Supervise and attend external tests.or more H,S & E related tasks within a zone/s; if appropriate take responsibility of H,S & E designated Zone. Please note random Drugs & Alcohol testing is undertaken on-site, a medical and drug and alcohol check may be required prior to start date.
