Job Requirements / Description
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager responsible for major account sales development and customer relationships in all sales channels.

Develop sales for the company across all sales channels.

Develop relationships with key customer accounts at the decision-making level. 

Analyze and understand consumer and marketing data trends and communicate for inclusion in sales plan.

Analyze current customer base sales, recommend product mix changes and determine sales direction.

Provide input to senior sales management for strategic plans. 

Develop tactical plans for customer sales and product mix.

Work closely with plant management to ensure best service level to customers.

Resolve problems concerning customer issues, transportation, and logistics systems.

Analyze the financial impact of current customer base to ensure proper margin and return on investments.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience within the poultry industry.

Approximately 8 years’ experience in poultry sales or equivalent experience across multiple sales channels.

Strong communication skills with ability to manage projects across various functional areas of the company to include sales, production, QA, R&D, coordination, transportation, and senior management.

Strong understanding of poultry processing and live operations knowledge.

Strong management and analytical skills.

Competency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong presentation skills.

Database and accounting skills are a plus.

Agility to negotiate around moving machinery and people.
