Position Summary:
The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading the development of category strategies and achieving business results within assigned categories for Energizer Household Products. 


Leverage all business intelligence information and trends to meet stakeholder needs

Demonstrate deep expertise in the Energizer strategic sourcing process and act as a coach/advisor within Procurement on the process

Liaises with stakeholders to align overall strategy and needs, ensuring procurement's ongoing value contribution 

Develop, gain alignment and lead execution of effective category strategies (short and long term) that aligns with the overall business strategy

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of stakeholder management processes and utilize influencing skills to proactively gain trust, cooperation and garner support from stakeholders to drive business value

Create category specific pipeline that will forecast and direct the procurement projects/sourcing activities

Establish category metrics and savings targets, monitor performance and communicate these to stakeholders and Procurement leadership

Support internal collaboration, knowledge sharing, and compliance with best practices across regions

Lead supplier relationship management process for category

Provide category specific subject matter expertise and insights to internal stakeholders and leadership

Manages and develops Buyers 

Ensure procurement's ongoing value contribution 

Develop and implement category procurement strategy, goals and savings targets in line with company strategy and procurement best-practices 

Evaluates strategies based on up-to-date supplier market analysis, category analysis and category risk analysis while adapting to changing market conditions 

Ensure effective risk and compliance management within category 

Leverage subject matter expertise in the category to provide knowledge consulting to internal clients on industry trends, benchmarking, and best practices

What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business Management or related field

3-5 years of Procurement experience

Experience leading contract negotiations

Minimum 2 years of experience in highly engineered or complex categories

Experience in strategic program planning and execution
