Ofsted Registered Manager, Northamptonshire (NN14), £45,000 Position: Ofsted Registered Manager Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire Job type: Full time, permanent Working hours: 40 hours a week with the expectation that these will be worked flexibly to meet the needs of the services you support Salary: From £45,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience. Plus, an annual bonus scheme (OTE £51,750). About the service Our residential home in Kettering (Northamptonshire) provides care and support for up to 6 children aged between 5 - 17. The young people we support have learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, and present behaviours that challenge. We have spacious communal areas including a large garden room which is a hive of activity and fun. The large garden gives additional play areas, and our well-equipped sensory room provides a calming and soothing relaxation area. The Role As the Registered Manager you will utilise your extensive experience and leadership skills, as you will be responsible for the running of all aspects of the home, ensuring it runs as efficiently as possible whilst maintaining the highest standards of care to our children. About you To be successful in the role of Registered Manager you will need to have a minimum of 2 years` experience working in a relevant position to the residential care of children with learning disabilities along with at least 1 years` experience in a position requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role. It is essential you have knowledge of current legislation including Children`s regulations, The Quality Standards, Every Child Matters and have a good understanding of the role of Ofsted and experience of dealing with inspections. The successful candidate must also hold or being willing to achieve the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care or an equivalent qualification. A full driving licence and own transport would be an advantage. Applications will only be considered from Registered Managers who can evidence good or outstanding outcomes with Ofsted inspections. The successful candidate will be required to be approved for registration by Ofsted as well as undergo an enhanced DBS check and will be subject to extensive referencing and pre-employment checks.
