Factory Operatives

Job Title: Factory Operative Salary: £24,000 Location: Peterborough Sector: Timber Frame Are you and experienced Production Operative with experience in a timber frame environment? Do you want to work for one of the largest timber frame companies in the UK? Working in the Production Factory using hand tools and automated robots to cut and assemble quality timber frame components. Helping to operate and maintain pneumatic and electrical plant equipment to prepare and assemble frames and joists. You will also be tasked with creating wall panels and fitting metal joist hangers, other components and assembling external and internal partitions and floor cassettes. Responsibilities as a Factory Operative: Assemble Timber Frame components Handling of hand tools and automated equipment Cutting Timber and Board materials Operating Pneumatic and electrical plant equipment Preparing frames/joists for assembly Cladding Panels with sheet material Fitting metal joist hangers Assembly of internal and external wall panels Fitting breather membraneWe would welcome conversations with Factory Operatives who: Come from a Timber frame or carpentry background Have experience using hand tools (nail gun, hand saw, chop saw etc) Can prepare timber frames and joists Will input ideas to help with continuous improvement Are able to work to tight deadlines This employer is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
