Senior Buyer

We are looking for a Senior Buyer to join a renowned international ladies’ brand in Montreal Full time. Permanent. Responsibilities: Create product collections for the Canadian region Collaborate with the head designer to bring product to life that meets Canadian market Oversee sales and trade , review opportunities and increase margin Oversee production of various categories as dresses, woven tops, skirts, Ensure strong knowledge of future trends Pursue fabric sourcing, elevate ranges, Develop and maintain an in depth understanding of market, supplier base Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of external trends, Provide feedback and recommendations to the corporate office Ensure all department financial parameters and targets are met Provide cost breakdowns, negotiate costs with suppliers, review margins across all categories Requirements: 3-5 years experience as a Senior buyer Excellent communication and presentation skills Outstanding organizational and problem solving skills Strong financial business acumen Ability to develop and lead a team In depth knowledge of fashion markets Experience working with design team
