We have an exciting opportunity for a freelance planner with nuclear experience to start working in Sellafield on a long term basis. About the Project: The project is known as the Box Encapsulation Project Joint Venture Project and is looking to safely design and deliver a Plant. These works are to be within accordance with the requirements of the contract in order to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants, all to be carried out in line with the employers needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the BEP Project. Main Duties: Carry out monthly schedule updates with the engineering and procurement team, incorporating progress from vendor programmes into the BEP live programme. Review vendor programmes submitted in support of compensation events and carry out substantiated impact assessments. Ensure KPI's are maintained for the timely acceptance / non acceptance of vendor programmes. Attend weekly meetings with area project teams to facilitate early identification of risks and opportunities.. Prepare package progress reports for the package manager. Essential Criteria: Heavily experienced in working in a highly regulated industry, specifically the Nuclear industry. Site based construction and fit out experience. Experience working in Sellafield.
