This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including a 401K with employer contribution. Compensation ranges are for qualified candidates with relevant experience.

Responsibilities:
Position Summary:

The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, calendaring deadlines, document management, review of documents for responsiveness, organization of documents and compiling information for discovery responses/pleadings/motions, depositions and trial preparation.

 

Qualifications:
As Litigation Paralegal, you will: 

Prepare documents for attorney review, including letters, forms, presentations, charts and spreadsheets

Coordinate with local office services for large copy and binder creation requests

Assist with trial preparation including assembling deposition summaries and updating trial exhibits

Organize, index and maintain case files

Draft various legal documents including transmittal letters, subpoenas and case summaries for attorney review

Conduct legal research

Gather case related materials including contracts, witness and expert files, and exhibits

File documents with government agencies and courts

Maintain departmental docketing calendar to ensure timely filings

Prepare trial work spaces, including coordinating with IT and outside vendors regarding war room equipment

Provide administrative trial support, including maintaining exhibit lists and filing court documents

Job Specifications/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate (certificate may be requireed base on region, state or client requirements).   

At least five (5) years of litigation work experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)

Strong Excel skills required

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work with large data sets

Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities

Ability to work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours

Meet the billable expectation of 1,600 hours per year

Ability to handle and maintain confidential information 

Minimum Salary:
USD $65,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Salary:
USD $78,000.00/Yr.
