Chief Financial Officer

About the role Working in a FMCG ASX listed organisation with operations in Australia and North America, the CFO is a key member of the Executive Management team. The CFO reports to the CEO and assumes a strategic and hands on role in the overall management of the company. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and key contract compliance. In additional to this, the CFO will also oversee the company secretarial duties and HR function. The Essential Requirements Reporting directly into the CEO, the CFO will be responsible for (but not limited to): Ensuring timely and accurate completion of month-end management accounts. Preparation of half-year financial and full-year financial reports including being the key contact for the external audits. Responsibility for statutory compliance, including Income Tax, GST, Payroll Tax, FBT, etc. Preparation and presentation of historical and forecast cash flows, including scenarios Lead all financial planning and analysis work-related tasks Take the lead on plans for consolidation and centralisation of accounting functions for all subsidiaries. Lead the development and growth of the finance function & team Have a continual focus on process improvement and assist on ad-hoc tasks as required Compliance with ASIC/ASX requirements for a publicly listed company   Skills and Experience  CA / CPA Qualified 5+ years experience in a similar role FMCG experience preferred ASX experience preferred Familiar with company secretary duties and Human Resources Advanced Excel and financial analysis abilities Commercially astute to affect change in the business Technically strong understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements Strong leadership skills with a growth mindset Excellent communication to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders Self-motivated to drive improvements   ASX listed organisation Broad role Apply Today Please send your resume by clicking on the apply button.
