Inventory Administrator, with Supply Chain/Stock Control, Huthwaite - £16.27 per hour (£31,393) Our client is a well-established, award winning electrical distribution network operator who are part of the larges electricity transmission and distribution businesses in the UK.  As a national business, they pride themselves on their first class reputation for network reliability and business efficiency, receiving the Government’s Charter Mark scheme accolade every year. Their Huthwaite depot are seeking an Inventory Administrator, ideally with some Supply Chain/Stock Control experience for a minimum of 3 months with the likelihood of being extended. However, this is an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a large organisation with opportunities to apply for internal permanent positions.  You will be required to support activities across the two Inventory Teams – Exeter Inventory Team & Huthwaite Inventory Team.  Hours - 37  hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm ( 8.30pm to 4.30pm would be considered) Static hours 8am to 4pm ( 8.30pm to 4.30pm would be considered). The role is working 5 days a week, in the office,  Excellent hourly rate with up to two salary increments a year, holiday entitlement rising to 26 days + bank holidays after 12 weeks, free parking. Duties of Inventory/Supply Chain/Stock Conrol Administrator will include:- Progressing and processing purchase orders Liaising with internal and external customers Liaising with Suppliers to successfully resolve supply chain queries/delays Interrogating and resolving Supplier invoice queries   Reviewing daily stock shortages Maintaining data Checking stock requests and stock availability Assisting with the provision of Supplier performance details Processing and interrogating Inventory and Purchasing transactions  Facilitating internal customer satisfaction surveys General administration duties i.e. telephone calls, photocopying, filing. Supply Chain/Stock Control experience would be preferable but not essential, there are lots of meetings with suppliers so you will need excellent communication and problem solving skills. You should have an excellent range of computer skills, and have good numeracy and literacy skills. There will be requirement for  them to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, and you will need to be organised and able to prioritise activities, and have the ability to work on your own initiative or effectively as part of a team. You should be very confident with Excel, and be proficient in the use of Microsoft office and educated to good GCSE standard. The following areas of experience would be advantageous: Inventory, Stock Control, Supply Chain, Administration, Clerical, Stores, Logistics, Warehouse, purchasing.
