We are in search of a Functional Skills English  & GCSE Teacher to join our Education Centre Based in Spalding and or Boston If you're an experienced teacher needing renewed inspiration or someone transitioning industries, then this could be your ideal fresh start. As an educator with us, you'll form meaningful bonds guiding students toward accomplishing their goals. What will I be doing as an English teacher? The purpose of the role is to oversee day to day delivery of the English qualifications from Entry Level 1 through to Functional Skills (Level 2). The post holder will engage and develop students' English functional skills as well as support the personal and social development of our learners. Duties include (but are not limited to): Design, plan and deliver the English curriculum in line with the Education Inspection Framework (EIF), awarding body standards and Nacro curriculum guidance and quality standards. Implement the Nacro English/Maths strategy aims to ensure the needs of Nacro Learners are met. Carry out initial assessment of the potential or actual student, including any risks, or his / her needs and requirements in respect of the service on offer. Actively engage with students in decisions that affect them, through involvement activities ranging from providing information, requesting feedback, consulting, to facilitating participation by the student.
