Full Time Humanities Teacher position in Salisbury Secondary School starting from April 2024 Pay – £140.86 - £215 (depending on experience) Start – April 2024 (Long term contract) Location – Salisbury Hours – Full time 8am – 3.30PM Salisbury Secondary School, an OFSTED rated 'Good' institution nestled in the heart of Salisbury, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join our team for the upcoming summer term, starting from April 15th and concluding at the end of July. The Role: We are seeking a dynamic Humanities Teacher with a specific focus on Religious Education to join the Schools Humanities department. You will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students across History, Geography, and Religious Studies, with a particular emphasis on RE. Your role will involve planning and delivering stimulating lessons that ignite curiosity, promote understanding, and encourage respectful discussion of diverse cultures and beliefs. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification. Experience teaching humanities subjects, preferably with a focus on Religious Education. A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
