• Participate in several projects to optimize digital platforms and tools.
• Coordinate CRM campaign calendar updates with the various business units.
• Coordinate social media management.
• Research audience preferences and discover current trends.
• Create engaging text, image and video content.
• Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products.
• Measure web traffic and monitor SEO.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
• Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way.
• Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries.
• Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans.
• Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.
• Oversee social media accounts’ layout.
• Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions.
• Continuously research best practices and solutions.
• Create and revise team procedures and processes.
• Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing on special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• BAA in Tourism, Marketing or DEC in Tourism Management, or other relevant training.
• Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
• Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels.
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).
• In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.
• Expertise in multiple social media platforms.
• Proven work experience as a social media coordinator.
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.
• Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
• Refined verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a high demand, fast-paced environment.
• Good stress tolerance.
• Strong sense of initiative and autonomy.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent team spirit and ability to collaborate.
• Ability to manage priorities and several projects simultaneously.
• Organized, analytical, rigorous, results-oriented, meticulous and flexible.
• Good command of Office suite software.
• Writing experience an asset.
• Experience in the tourism industry is an asset.
• Knowledge of technology, the web and digital in general (CMS, CRM, newsletter tools, Google
• At least two years of experience in a similar position.
