Health and Safety Trainer

Health and Safety Trainer| North London | 3 Days Per Week £(Apply online only) Per Day (Outside IR35) 12 Month Duration (potential for extension) Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a Health and Social Care provider in North London to recruit a Health and Safety Trainer. The organisation has a proven track record of high-quality delivery over a number of years with staff development and training being critical to this. They are looking for someone, ideally with experience within Not-for-Profit organisations and care, to deliver mandatory training for manual handling, first aid, and fire safety for a 12-month period with potential to extend. Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Trainer will include: Deliver Health & Safety mandatory training within company facilities, including manual handling, first aid, and fire safety Administration of all training for the company including database management and writing exception reports Collect and input of information and data on training courses, attendance, pass rate and compiling monthly training reports for senior management Offer additional input or advice to the devised course, making improvements throughout delivery where neededThe successful Health and Safety Trainer will have: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally from the not-for-profit or social care sector, or a related industry RoSPA Qualifications would be ideal Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under their own initiative Understanding of best practices for manual handling and within fire safety This position is a great opportunity for an individual with experience delivering Health & Safety training to further develop their career.
