My client, who is a leading global consultancy are seeking a Cloud Security Architect to join their team. This role is ideal for professionals from various sectors who want to play a vital role in guiding organisations of all sizes through their cloud journey or bolstering their existing cloud setups.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough reviews of client cloud setups to ensure they meet best practices and mitigate relevant threats.
  • Developing and implementing cloud security strategies and plans for both initial design and ongoing improvement
  • Collaborating with teams across strategy, transformation, and digital engineering to implement secure cloud architectures.
  • Assisting in building the cloud security capability within our team by fostering a community and staying updated on industry changes and best practices
  • Creating architecture examples and proofs of concept on various platforms to showcase best practices.
  • Leading small teams in day-to-day tasks during assignments

Requirements:

  • Experience working with AWS, Azure or any of the leading cloud platforms
  • Proficiency in cloud security tools and automation
  • Professional certifications in cloud architecture from Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
  • ISC2 CISSP accreditation or equivalent
  • Background in security architecture, including designing and implementing technology solutions such as firewalls, secure networks, IDS/IPS, and IDAM systems
  • Understanding of technology risks, threat actors, and mitigation strategies, with a commitment to continuous learning
  • Experience leading the design and architecture of cloud capabilities, including managing operational risk
  • Hands-on experience throughout portfolio, program, and project lifecycles
  • Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity standards such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001
